I'm just glad that you had a good doctor who ordered the MRI immediately. I'm sorry you're now dealing with ice pick headaches. I've not experienced that and I hope I don't.

[ My BP is fine usually although I had a fall and had a head injury (not my first) just over a week ago and became hypertensive for just a couple of hours or so and then it went back to normal. (went to hosp.). ]

One can become somewhat complacent I suppose when dealing with things like migraine on a regular basis. Other ailments as well.

Your message is a good warning to be checked regularly when we feel something isn't quite right for our bodies.
