Starznight- very helpful information actually. Baclofen is the first spasticity med that I've been on. My neuro wasn't too keen on it so he started me on Fampyra (Ampyra) first, but a week into that I had to stop working because my gait got so incredibly bad. So much for it helping my gait. He told me to stop the Fampyra and I asked for Baclofen again and he gave it to me.

I am going to up my dose, I read up on how to do that. My nurse told me not to go up more than 1/2 a pill per day until I meet with my neuro again but they are taking their sweet time on even getting back to me with an appt. So I will do it myself. I'll stop the increasing of the dosage if I get sleepy.

After reading these posts about the pump, I think I'll pass. I didn't realize it could be such a bad experience and how invasive the procedure to place it is!
