steve and I have not posted or visited on neurotalk for a long time. I wish we had checked in months ago. I am devastated by the news of ricks passing. he was one of the founders of neurotalk and steve and i remember him from the days of braintalk. for all of those years he fought the pd battle not just by our side, but ahead of us. he lead the way in self researching all alternatives to fight this demon that many of us fear. it tears out my heart that what he fought to end is what ended his fight. what is harder to face is the reality that even the strongest soldiers amongst us can fall. but I know this... he still held his sword. even when he fell...though he did not recognize it, he held his sword. I will miss you rick
to the parkie community.. it still amazes me the tremendous support that flows out of here. I miss it and love you.

I am also devastated by Ricks passing..He was a special guy because of his affable nature, his willingness to help others, and for his mission to think outside of the box..I was an associate member of the white rats society..Rick inspired me, and fascinated me..He was a friend, although I have never met him, I felt like I knew him
Thank You Rick for the help, knowledge and friendship you gave to me
Godspeed on your new journey Rick..You are in a better place and your pain is gone
Rest In Peace my friend
