I'm not sure I can give you hope but my daughter had a brain abscess/brain surgery June 2013 and since that time regularly has burning tongue pretty severely, probably from nerve damage. We thought it might be some of the anti-seizure meds but she is now on the 4th med and is still having this issues along with other nerve pains. Would love to know she could get relief also.
