I didn't loose any weight in the hospital. I had Iv fluids running the whole time and actually by day 3 was eating much better than before I went in. The whole week before going in I felt like crap and had no appetite . The only reason I don't have lines on ankles now is because I can't without them starting to cut circulation. Im confidant enough that it's due to muscle tone because the same thing is going on with deltoid muscles as well as abs. In my former life I was a ultra runner/bodybuilder so my body fat is low and I still have more muscles (despite not lifting)than a fit woman of 25 though I'm 45 not trying to be obnoxious or conceited it just happens to be the truth. I seem to build muscle by not doing much but unlike most muscle, strength doesn't come with it. Sometimes I feel like someone just put a muscle costume on me that just happens to look real. I'm also in a rehab center and still wheelchair bound and spend most of my time in bed when I'm not in therapy
