The recovering brain does not tolerate alcohol very well. I'm surprised your GP did not tell you this. Absent any serious symptoms (severe head aches, loss of motor control, etc), there is usually no value to a CT Scan. They are unnecessary huge doses of radiation.

I hope you don't feel it is necessary to drink to feel joy. Many of us have found joy without the need to stress our brains. A single serving is OK but getting tipsy is not advised.
