Hello JakesMom,

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

I'm so sorry to read about the migraines that your son is having. They sound extremely severe.

I'll post a few links below where you may like to look for information or repost.

Headache (includes Migraine)

You could ask about the Vit B12 and Vit D levels over on the
Vitamins, Nutrients, Herbs & Supplement Forum
There are some reference thread at the top of that forum for specific vitamins
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread16628.html

There's also a Vit 12 thread on the Peripheral Neuropathy forum.
Vitamin B12 Thread

When you say his B12 is elevated, I'm wondering what the result was for that? It may help other people who may be able to make suggestions if we know that.

Has your son been ill with anything specific before all this started? Infections/Viruses?

Are the migraines new or has he had them all his life?
There is what is called Hemiplegic Migraine. Have you looked into that at all? It may not be related to his difficulties but worth a read.

Hemiplegic Migraine
MedlinePlus Sporadic Hemiplegic Migraine

I'm sure you'll find a lot of information and support here to try to help your son.

take care.
