Migraines tend to become more common in pregnancy. Starting in the mid-trimester, blood pressure changes radically--goes down--as part of the process.

I don't normally have migraines, but I had my first one in my 5th month of pregnancy. This was my first and only one in my life.

You need to discuss this with your OB... calcium channel blockers would not be really safe during this time of low blood pressures, IMO. When I had mine, no medications were authorized but I did have a CocaCola, which did help. Ask your OB if you can have a little caffeine. That is the most benign thing I would think. However, OBs limit caffeine for their pregnant patients most of the time.
