Default Alternative to sleep study?

Hi. I am a slim, active 47 year old mum living in the UK. I have some non-specific breathing difficulties (diaphragm weakness, small airways narrowing, pulmonary change) and particularly struggle when lying flat. My husband tells me that I stop breathing at times at night. I am often very short of breath in the mornings (clear cardiac screen)I also get laryngospasm on occasion. I have been toying with getting my own sleep study (done privately rather than wait for the NHS) to include both central and obstructive sleep apnea however the kit is costly and tricky to attach. I have just seen some programmes on the Acupebble which looks amazing - but is it? and when might it be available to purchase? I understand it should retail for less than $100.

Hope someone has come across it. Clare
