Thanks a lot, Danny. I am convinced that my problems are psychosomatic--I have begun seeing a therapist as well. Getting reassurance that it's mental/emotional and not physical is very important. It's really hard to stay positive when my arm feels so crazy.
If anyone reading this thinks they may be in a similar boat, and you've exhausted other options, look up Dr. John E. Sarno. He is one of the masters of psychosomatic medicine and has helped me a lot. His books The Divided Mind and The Mindbody Prescription are well worth your time. Peace.
