The article is quite vague on how the donated stem cells are used. There are a number of clinics in the US which use a patients own stem cells. Phoenix Stem Cell and Stemgenex being just two. I'm still not sure if the therapy helps, but it sure seems to beat going overseas to try this therapy. US stem cell treatments don't allow stem cells to be multiplied over a period of days. Instead the stem cells are harvested and then put back into the patient by IV the same day.
