I don't think returning to work after getting SSDI should be a big deal. The Social Security Administration would likely have your back to get to work if possible. Group disability policies do not usually have a lot of focus on individual employees. that is why they are group plans. The insurance company plays the larger group odds.

Your 100% disability record should be private unless asked about in a job application. I doubt it would be legal to ask. A gap in work history may raise a flag that would need to be carefully addressed. They can not ask about ADA disabilities by law. If they hire you, they must provide reasonable accommodations.
