These are very low carb and have protein as well: swiss chard, kale, spinach, romaine, cabbage, bok choy, mushrooms, asparagus, okra,broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, snow peas, eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, brussels sprouts, cucumbers, green bean
Meat IS expensive. I am only going to do this for two days and then go back to beans and lentils.
If you want to stick to it, you could could eat cottage cheese, yogurt, tuna -- things like that.
