MrsD, thanks for those links. Quite informative. Going through other thread on Vitamins, Nutrients, Herbs and Supplements as well. I think so i need to change L-carnitine to Alpha- L- carnitine and Alpha Lipoic to R lipoic acid

Would appreciate if you can provide your thoughts on following. Apologies for the long list.

1. Substitute to SSRis, Benzos, Pregab, TCAs to avoid burning, odd paresthesias since the dosage of drugs would only be heading north as the body gets used to it with free side effects unasked for.
2. Why the burning pain waxes and wanes (even when I am not on meds)
3. Any alternative medicines as in chinese, korean herbal etc. that can help, stimulate with regeneration of fibres (assuming antibiotics might not have destroyed all the 'machinery' required to regenerate nerve fiber!)
4. Do not have kefir available but have prebiotic and probiotic generic capsules with 9 strains of bacteria with fructo oligosaccharide
5. Reasons for more burning outside thigh/buttocks and other paresthesias in legs more while sitting? Is it only to do with blood circulation?
7. Any idea/info. on stem cell therapy/gene therapy for small fiber neuropathy?

Thanks & Regards,
Nash.
