Hey there! I am currently taking Nucynta in its extended release (ER) form along with Horizant ER for my neuropathy pain. I have found it to work well for the persistent pains and to reduce the intensity of the break-through pain. I also have Behcet's Disease and when I am having a flare up my pain levels can still get pretty high regardless of the meds. But for the normal, day-to-day pain, it has been working well for me.
