Hello Sassyfrass,
The only problem I had with blood pressure was at the time of the injury when my pulse rate dropped and my blood pressure skyrocketed. The blood pressure went down in a matter of hours. In the ER they wouldn't release me home until it went down.
A lot would depend on the extent of the head injury and if certain areas of the brain were injured. e.g. I *think* but am not 100% sure that the Hypothalamus is involved in regulation of blood pressure. Someone else might know if that's correct or not.
Anxiety can also cause a person's blood pressure to rise temporarily. Anxiety and agitation.
