If you read the actual study they make a good argument for excluding red meat (they include pork into that too .. damn!). I found it quite interesting and doubt I'll be eating red meat anytime soon.

Also another interesting thing .. Brazil has a very high ratio of 1. big time meat eaters, and 2. Parkinson's patients.

I have to say that I'm a little disturbed that this study wasn't emulated elsewhere. I trust these foreign studies more than US studies. They test stuff that would never get even considered here because there's no money in it. Here in the states there doesn't seem to be much interest in Parkinson's testing because the drug companies already have lifelong products to sell into that market.
