Donna,
I was arrested in New Hampshire, but live on the state line in Massachusetts. There's an approved center that's not too far away from me, but would be very expensive by taxi. However, that's an option if necessary.
I called the other center, but the only appointment they could offer was more unrealistic...
I called another friend of mine today to let him know how things went and he offered to give me a ride! I feel much better because he is much more reliable. Whew!!!
I just have to go to the DMV's in both states and get copies of my driving records and I'm set, but I'm going to go crazy over that piece until I get it over with. I can take a cab downtown to get the MA records, but I have to worry waiting for a day my husband gets out early enough to take me to the DMV in NH.
I'm not going to rush to take the driving classes to finish and get my license back as early as I can. It's so expensive. There's no time constraints on that piece, thank God.
My anxiety is so high- can't wait until this "program" is over. I have enough anxiety to begin with, don't need the extra.
Oh, I forgot to tell you my new tdoc called me Friday night to ask me how everything went because she knew how anxious I was about going to court. Very nice.
