Hi, i am taking ivetra too for 3mos already, my dr. Gave me this med because i'm planning to have a baby,i'm taking a depakote 250 before,and now i'm taking ivetra half of 500mg a day,for the past 4-5yrs i have no attacks. I just don't know how long should i take this drug.
I am using Ivetra Levetiracetam 500mg a day at bed time. same time everyday. So far i dont have sz. But I am wondering if that can really cure epilepsy. My neurologist said that with Levetiracetam it might take a year or two before getting a normal result in EEG. the other neurologist said that I can take depakote for 6 months and it will also cure the epileptogenic discharges in my brain. I was just recently diagnosed of complex partial seizure. I just dont know which medication is more effective in curing my condition.[/COLOR][/QUOTE]
