Default Some hope for the idiopathic ones

Today I went to a spine surgeon for a second opinion on my cervical spine. I brought my MRI and wanted to see if he thought my disc herniations could have cause the neuropathy all over my body. He said no and that they are normal degeneration for my age. I asked him if a repetitive overuse trama could have caused this. He said no, it had to have been there in the first place and maybe the repetitive strain just flared it.

Anyway so much for that theory. I guess theorizing doesnt help anyway. I just really like reasons and can't stand not being able to figure this out. I'm coming to terms, but not giving up.

I asked him if he's ever seen anyone with small fiber neuropathy and dyautonomia get better and he said Yes!!!
He is the second dr who said he has seen it reverse. I hear so many people say there doctors only say that it progresses or stays the same. I am hopeful. So hopeful!!!
