NAC -- n- acetyl cysteine is the precursor for glutathione.

And I believe low zinc levels are problematic to with it. You can get blood levels done for zinc and the zinc/copper ratio.

Pain in the thighs only... can be from the lumbar region where the lateral femoral nerve exists the spine. This is a sensory only nerve..that goes thru the abdomen to enervate the lateral and front of the thigh. Belts that are too tight, sitting on a wallet in the back pocket or jeans/trousers that are too tight in the crotch/groin area can compress this nerve as it exists the abdomen. When this condition occurs it is called meralgia paresthetica.
