Pain in the teeth?
I am slowly getting over a bout of pneumonia and went back to see my GP (I live in the UK) earlier this afternoon because I was wondering if the second antibiotic, Clarithromycin, might be causing this toothache. She just gave me an inhaler and said it was all viral in origin (flu) and gave me an inhaler to help my breathing. I am really struggling with this mouth pain and have a diagnosis from a dentst of TMJD.
I explained to my GP, who skin biopsied my legs last week, that the mouth pain is getting worse and so is the cold, wet tingling sensation in my legs and feet. She shrugged and said some kind of Raynauds and told me she has many patients this year with my symptoms apart from my jaw and teeth and the SFN. She didn't think the toothache/ jaw issues were drug related. I then went to the pharmacist to collect my inhaler and asked her about my symptoms in relation to the prescription drugs I take. She was baffled but said she thought the most likely thing causing this pain in my teeth and jaw is my small fiber neuropathy as there are so many nerves around the teeth.
Is this likely?
