Thanks so much for this Madisongirl. Mine is very equal bilaterally and I do have mild Rheumatoid Arthritis so the rheumatologist agreed it might be RA flaring in my jaw joints. But I don't think it is I really do believe it's that the SFN has moved up into my jaw and teeth - and this happened months ago before the flu and present pneumonia arrived. It is very confusing when GPs blame everything on winter viruses and my rheumy feels it's all autoimmune. Whom to trust?

Nerve related issues scare me far, far more than joint pain does - but the medical profession seem to be in the opposite boat. I guess if the neuropathic symptoms were happening to them for no aparant reason they would wake up and be equally scared!
