I get this now and then. I use a decongestant orally to shrink the congestion, and then guiafenesin to help move out the
junk before it becomes infected.
I also noticed a big improvement in my throbbing upper teeth, when I did the Candida cleanse with NOW Candida support.
I used it for 3 weeks, then had a huge Herx GI event, and stopped. It really helped my dry mouth and night-time throbbing I was getting.
The sphenoid sinus is in back of your nose, and not in the front like the others. When it clogs up your whole head can suffer.

So would this have any relevance to my small fiber neuropathy then Mrs D - or is it more likely to be part of the viral infection I've recently succumbed to?
I don't feel clogged up in my head as I have with previous colds and viruses - the pain is all in my teeth and the rest of me. I can breathe through my nose just fine and nose sores and bleeds have stopped for the past few weeks too. I've not come across any of the meds you have taken but I don't think it's oral thrush with me as I've had my mouth checked out by doctors and dentists quite recently and it's not on my tongue. However the nerve pain has come roaring back in my feet and ankles again over the past 12 hours - not hot and burning anymore - just pure pain. Feels terribly similar to what's going on in my teeth now. I get the skin biopsy stiches taken out of my calves tomorrow so hoping this may help and that the results may reveal something at last.
