Okay thanks for explaining, Just for the record I hardly touch alcohol - maybe one glass of wine every two weeks or so. I don't think I should take any over the counter drugs for Candida unless I'm told to. It really is just my mouth and nose that feel affected rather than headaches - as if they are shape shifting. I get nose sores and bleeds as well sometimes. I'm wondering more about Vasculitis than anything to be honest but the info you gave about the Sphenoid was very useful indeed as I've now looked it up and think this could fit the bill for me and explain why I've completely lost my sense of smell for over a year now and have a very poor sense of taste.

Also I seem to get different horrible tastes on many different drugs and wonder if this could be ENT related rather than relating to my GI system as I'd previously assumed.

My GP just mocked me over the Guillaine Barre suggestion last week despite the fact that I have so much neuropathy in my feet and legs just now.

Time to move away from GPs who think I'm more resiliant than I am methinks!
