I also use Kefir to restore beneficial organisms. Lifeway brand has 12 strains and is quite good.

There are RX drugs for Candida... Nystatin, and the more toxic Diflucan. I think doing it naturally is better and works for most people.

Thanks Mrs D - I will get ordering online as I don't think our island chemist sells any of these and if they do they will be very expensive. I'm eating organic natural yoghourt, fresh fruit with tiny slices of ginger and sour cherries plus manuka honey. So I hope these will keep the candida at bay for the time being and maybe help promote recovery in my stomach, taste buds and teeth. I fully agree about natural remedies being best. However my diet is always exemplary and yet I've still managed to become pretty run down and ill!
