As a biologist, I wouldn't go as far to say that. There are def. infected ticks in TN, especially southern and southern middle. AL is rampant- its just not spoken about openly in the scientific community because the research just isnt there, unfortunately. I actually know of an on the ground study currently going on in AL, where ticks will be collected from several regions then tested. I think folks will be surprised about the results. So so many people in our region, I'm from TN as well, go undiagnosed with Lyme. I'm not by any means suggesting thats what you have. Hell, thats whats I could have considering I work in the woods for a living! I just wanted to educate you and the community. I have followed your story, very similiar to my own and I hope you find some relief and much needed answers soon. Praying for you and all those living this daily.
