I am so sorry to hear about the pain your wife is having. You didn't give us any idea what treatments she has tried. There are quite a few drugs and several surgeries that could take her pain away. I had a Microvascular Decompression surgery (MVD) almost 6 years ago and have no pain since. Before that I tried many other things that helped for awhile. Please make sure she is seeing a neurologist who understands the degree of pain she is in. Make sure the doctor knows that she has talked of suicide. That always seems to help get the message through that this is very serious. TN can cause excruciating pain and it must be taken very seriously.
