If those researchers were correct in saying that people with HH are at risk of neuropathy, then I would assume it follows that high iron levels can cause neuropathy in some people. This wouldn't be too different from high glucose levels.

There are apparently 16 other rarer gene mutations that are involved with HH that 23andme doesn't test for. I need to look into these.
