Hi Catra,
Glad that's over with, now you can just recover! The rupture may actually be some weirdly good news. I have had cysts that resolved on their own and I had one years ago that ruptured. There is definitely a difference in the pain! It was intensely, intensely painful with the rupture. Your pain level with a regular cyst seemed kinda high, but I thought maybe it was the CRPS or central sensitivity making it worse. The fact that CRPS was NOT making an acute pain incidence overly high seems like good news as far as your nervous system is concerned. The other good news. Rupture is rare, I never had one do that again. You will heal beautifully over your week of hooky and hopefully this will be then end of it. No needle aspiration or going on for months and months, yeah!
Enjoy that baby this week! I am sending Healing Love, Littlepaw
