You wrote that "twitching and jerking" led you to acupuncture. Is it possible that you already had some symptoms before the acupuncture and it's just coincidental that the symptoms worsened during the same time period?
Just asking because I had acupuncture every month for nearly 3 years, and the needle never seemed like it was deep enough to ever cause damage.
I am not saying that it wasn't caused by that, because I'm sure all acupuncturists practice differently.
I just hope that you aren't assuming it was from the acupuncture, and not look into other reasons. just in case it is something different and treatable.
