A meeting with the school should be organized asap. It's their job to help your son in the classroom environment and they can start off by making some changes straight away. It can be a battle, but these days it can be done.

Prof Attwood is a wonderful person. I don't know what we would have done without him and yes, his book was extremely helpful to me regarding Aspergers. He gives talks overseas a lot so if you ever get the chance to listen to him it would be worth it. There are many short talks on youtube by the way.
