In the US it is called A and D ointment.
This is the most common brand:

Make sure the sore is clean and not infected before applying.
This is good for chafing and anorectal disorders. Clean the area well with hydrogen peroxide before applying.

Chronic skin sores may be due to Vit A deficiency. If you do not take a multivitamin with real A (not betacarotene) in it, and are hypothyroid, you may be low in A. The liver converts betacarotene to A in the body, but this fails in hypothyroid patients. Dry eyes, dry mouth and skin issues + fatigue may be a sign of low A. One cod liver oil cap a day or one tablet of
Vitamin A 8000 IU acetate will help heal these issues up. Do not consume more than this...as excess A is toxic. Vitamin A deficiency is the most common deficiency in the WORLD.
