The LTD company has zero incentive to interfere with your SSDI benefits, unless you have a very unusual contract, SSDI offsets your LTD payment.
You have already been approved for SSDI, correct?
The bigger issue is that if you have had not yet been approved for SSDI or are due for a SSDI CDR, an IME report could potentially impact your credibility with SS.
It makes no sense to be bullied out of these type of benefits. Hire an attorney if need be.
