I had the same thing happen - it took appointments to many different doctors for over a year until one of them found an eye issue and referred me to a specialist. He was very surprised it hadn't been noticed earlier. Frustrating, but all we can do is move ahead. It is good when they find answers.

I can't give you much of an end goal from my experience as I only recently started visual therapy. The prism glasses help with reading if that is an issue of yours.
