I think it would take more than that....

I had a root canal done when being retested for CRP, and mine only went up .5. Even that worried my doctor! I had the first test about 3 months earlier and the retest was just after the drilling and temp crown. I felt really bushed then but my retest was by coincidence during that time.

You'll have to see what your doctor thinks. They see more people with various elevations, and perhaps he will just order a retest in 6mons. You can take about 1 gram of Vit C a day and see if that helps it come down.

A retest would show perhaps if this one test was a laboratory mistake, also.
