I use the long acting type... it should say on the bottle.

Vit C is rapidly excreted via the kidneys, so the delayed onset type dissolves more slowly and stays in the body a few hours longer. Divide the dose up over the day too... 500mg in the morning and 500mg at supper. It may work for you.

There is quite a movement now for the liposomal type, which is nano sized emulsion -- the claims are that it is more effective.
But it is more expensive too.
