What you describe can be also a bleed into the retina. Usually they do an angiogram for that though. Your eye doctor should be able to see the bleed when looking into your eye.
the dr did say she looked at the circulation in my eye and it seems fine. She noticed a freckle...I asked what that means/is and she said everybody has freckles on their skin, you just happen to have one in your eye. I said "oh.." I felt silly.
