May already... I had my freak out yesterday, which was Labor Day here. A double-whammy reminder that I am not working... sigh.

Based on my own experience with tapering, an increase in energy, even some slightly unpleasant over-excitation, is normal when reducing a benzo. These kinds of symptoms abate as the body gets used to the lower dosage. These symptoms are not harmful per se, provided they are relatively mild.

However, Bizi, you are right to be cautious. If the "up" sensation you have gets worse, worrisome, or feels in any way problematic for you, do not hesitate to call your psychiatrist. You can ask if you might have 0.25's and a slower reduction program. You can just say you'd feel more comfortable going more slowly, and hopefully she wouldn't object.
