Sally, I once had that happen in my own backyard! It was super cute, and my daughter and I drove up just as they were leaving the backyard. We've since removed the dead tree where they nested, but just a few weeks ago the parents were at my house, checking for their spot, after almost 10 years! Apparently black bellied whistlers can live to 20!
