That is not what I said. I said "It appears helpful for some but of no value for others. If I remember correctly, for some of those it helped, once they stopped using it, some or all of the improvement was lost."

You can not average 'helps some, no help for others.'

Concussion effect the brain differently for different people. Your injury may be of a type that Amantadine helps or it may not.

But, others have had sleep difficulty side-effects, too.

The key point is it does not appear to facilitate healing but rather treats symptoms while it is being taken. Some have found Ritalin helps with their symptoms but Ritalin definitely does not support healing.

So, remember, there is a difference between reducing symptoms and promoting healing. So far, there is no drug that has been shown to promote healing directly. Reducing symptoms can help with healing as the reduction in stress and anxiety creates a healthier environment for the brain to heal.
