I also drink 2 ounces of wheatgrass a day and do large glasses of green veggie juice to keep my system alkaline. I have cycled on and off this diet for many yrs as it is hard to maintain in winter and during stressful times in life. However, I feel best on it.

Keep us posted how you do on the high fat diet. I use avocado for a good fat.
It can be mixed into shakes.

Best of luck.....feel better!

Hi Diandra,
I am very worried about the steroids if its lyme, so I would probably go for the plaquenil first. It would be interesting to see what would happen with it because it is often used for lyme anyway.
If this diet can heal me, maybe I won't have to find out.
I am trying to stay as alkaline as I can with it, by maintaining the majority of what I eat to be dark greens and cruciferous veg. I miss the fruit though... apples, oranges, pears, melons!
