Default Sorry to hog forum - Questions for surgery consult?

Hi,

I came on here with with a rancid attitude and hate to hog this forum! But, my surgery consult is next week, and if you've followed my rants I do not trust neurosurgeons in this area. I don't know the reception I'll get being a malpractice risk, but I'm entitled to understand the MRI, surgery and possibly long term damages seeing as its been 5 months.

I have one picture of the MedX machine to show why I think I may have compromised my upper back. Is this a bad idea? I would like to put together a list of questions because I have heard every opinion from you're fine to you need surgery asap. Even his asst. Blew me off, but I cant mention that. This is such a delicate situation in that I don't know if explaining the trauma will further cause resentment.

The worst part is I'm not sure if the truth will even come out until I leave the state and get a 3rd opinion!

Has anyone here put together good questions to ask prior to what I'm guessing is a neck fuse of I'm not sure how many levels? Other damages from PT have to make this surgery very risky, and I'd like to mention my torn rotator cuff. What do you all think? Can he get mad or spooked and refuse to take me on as a patient? I was wondering if he'd even insist I sign a waver to a malpractice suit?!

Today's my birthday and I got up and cried for 2 dang hours
