Check out the Brain Injury Survivor Guide at www.TBIGuide.com .

If you developed your relationship with her prior to your brain injury, you may be holding her to a very high standard. Your personality is likely different. I have undergone personality changes with many of my concussions since my first at 10 years old. I lost most of my friends that year.

Besides this event you mention, you may be reacting to situations much differently. It may help to get some counseling to help you identify personality issues.

If there is a brain injury support group you can attend, it may help, especially if it has a caregivers group within it.

It is a challenge for both of you. Believe me. I have lived it for 50 years.

My best to you.
