For the "pumping feeling" in head and neck, do you have tight or spasmed neck muscles , do you even notice a whooshing sound like in or near your ears?

I had the whooshing & some pumping feelings - it was due to tight & spasmed neck muscles compressing on the arteries. the medical term for the whooshing sound is bruit.
