Default Anxiety following PCS

Hello everyone,

I posted about a month ago about my anxiety after my Post Concussion Syndrome has healed. As I mentioned, all physical symptoms (dizziness, blurry vision, memory, and all vestibular disfunctioning) have healed.

My doctor cleared me to play lacrosse again, and I finished out the last month of the season. These past two month have had many highs and lows, which have been caused by my anxiety. I went to a bio feedback specialist, and it helped me a good amount, however my anxiety still bothers me everyday.

I feel foggy, worried all the time, am constantly monitoring myself, and asking myself "how am I feeling?" In addition, I often question whether things are real or not, and the purpose of everything.

Since the anxiety has continued this long, my parents and I agreed it was time to look into psychiatric medicine. I went a to well regarded Psychiatrist, and he talked everything through with me, and diagnosed me with some mild depression and moderate anxiety (which I never had problems with before the 7 month concussion).

The doctor prescribed me Zoloft, an anti depressant. I am posting on here to see if anyone is familiar with Zoloft. I know it does not work for everyone, but this is the first medication I am going to try, so we'll see if it works for me. I am ready to get passed this constant worrying, stress, and foggy headedness.

Please let me know if your experiences with Zoloft. Thanks!
