Hey Bizi,

It's hard to say how long you should rest your toe; depends on what's causing the pain. I try to avoid medication if at all possible too, but if something is impacting my quality of life or my work, then I'm open to negotiation. Maybe try icing the area after you exercise to curb any inflammation? Could you place some cotton balls in your shoe to cushion the toe? Try different arrangements. I've never had a toe injury so no experience here, but I would definitely experiment with small changes so that you can keep up all the progress you've made.
