Even good meds don't work miracles when the depression is very bad. It takes some time, and rest, even with meds.

This was the person who stopped teaching, right, because she felt she couldn't get through the semester? But now she has 3 part-time jobs? That's a TON of pressure. I don't see how any severely depressed person, or person recovering from depression, could handle that. I could barely handle getting up in the morning.

Has she had any convalescence time? Some complete rest, say for a month?

Couldn't she take a break from working temporarily, maybe just keep the symphony job -- I assume that is a passion for her, so it might help her even if there is some pressure.
