Many have tried functional neurology or chiro neurology as it is also called. Some see improvements. Others do not. Carrick trained chiros often tend to add their own ideas to the Carrick protocol so you can not compare the different Carrick trained chiros.

The initial work-up can be expensive and is rarely covered by insurance. The treatments may not be either. Most insurance only covers chiro spinal manipulations only and not the ancillary treatments.

If you are going to give it a try, guard your wallet. Use common sense before taking on a long prescribed treatment protocol.

Remember, every concussion is different. What works for one may be useless for another.
