I just ran a search for - Femoral Nerve Damage - and it brings up a number of past posts. I clicked on posts rather than threads.

Some are on the Meralgia Paresthetica Forum but others elsewhere.

I'm not sure if those ideas are helpful, but just thought I'd let you know.
